Caliber Presents # 1 – The Crow 1989

This was Caliber’s showcase of their upcoming series, Caliber was the first publishers to ever release The Crow, after the release of this Issue Caliber was meant to release a 5 Issue series on The Crow but due to financial reason only 4 Issues were released and Tundra Publishing later released the missing Issue in a 3 series collection.

Death Rattle Vol.3 # 3 1996 (The Crow – Lost Pages)

Following the release of James O’Barr’s The Crow Kitchen sink released a short section in this Issue of Death rattle of rough drawings and full pages from the original comic. It was from Vol.3 of the series and was in Issue #3

Death Rattle Vol.3 # 2 1995 (The Crow – Dead Time Preview)

Just before the release of The Crow – Dead Time in 1996, Kitchen Sink’s Death Rattle released a sneak preview of the upcoming series in this issue in 1995, it was from Vol.3 of the series and was in Issue # 2


The Crow – Dead Time # 1, 1996

Vengeance from the grave and across time.

The Crow: Dead Time is the new crow story by James O’Barr in over a decade. This is the follow up to the original graphic novel that was the based for the internationally successful film The Crow starring the late Brandon Lee. Dead Time was written as O’Barr’s treatment for a new crow film, and has been brought to stunning life in graphic novel form with a script by John Wagner and the award winning artist Alexander Maleev.

Joshua, the hero of Dead Time, is a Native American, a member of the crow nation who has the adopted the white man’s way and become a farmer. In the 1860′s, he and his family was killed by a marauding band of Confererate renegades. Flash to the present, over a century later, where the murderers have been recincarnated as a motorcycle gang, and the crow brings back Joshua to carry out his mission of vengeance.
